They have been putting PlayerLayer through its paces up on the mountain. "Training for competitions as a Freeskier is both very easy and hard at the same time, as you never know what is going to happen on competition day, is the snow going to be deep? Is it going to be icy? Will I be doing big jumps?? Will there be need for good strength or a lot of endurance?It could be any of these once I’m stood at the top of the mountain.Will I be starting early in the field or stood up here for a few hours in the freezing cold trying to stay focused?So many variables come into it, the only way to train is to spend as much time as possible on skis and generally lead an active life. I like to cycle, climb, swim and hit the weights on top of any on-snow training activities to keep myself ready for all events.I started using compression wear a few years back when playing football and squash, I felt more aware of my muscle movements and to this day I always wear my PlayerLayers on a big day for just that reason.While training I use my PlayerLayer a lot more regularly to aid recovery times, after a hard day I know I give my self the best chance of giving 110% again the following day when I spend the night in my PlayerLayer. Try it, it really works!! Better than Ice baths and definitely more enjoyable!"  "I’ve been skiing all my life, growing up in a very active family I never saw sport as training, but simply a way of life and having fun outdoors. Even now as a Freeskier I don’t have a specific training plan in the off-season, but I do lead a very active life. In the summers in Sweden I do a lot of Kayaking and kite surfing to fill my time, these things just happen to keep me in shape.Being a big guy, my struggle is normaly to find clothes that aren’t skin tight, and I had never really heard much about the compression wear hype until recently.Having had a good trial period testing the new PlayerLayer ski wear, I am a firm believer. Keeping my hands and arms warm between, aswell as during, matches is essential and my PlayerLayer actually helps considerably. Leicestershire CCC and PlayerLayer

 PlayerLayer have signed a deal to become the official baselayer partner for Leicestershire County Cricket Club.The Leicestershire deal is a first for PlayerLayer with a professional club. The players will take advantage of PlayerLayers technologically advanced fabrics and garment construction. No external branding is visible on the Leicestershire kit, due to regulations in professional cricket.
