Marjet van der Graaff finishes 4th in Switzerland
A good performance from Marjet van der Graaff at the Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss Open. Our PL Test Pilot from Rijswijk, Netherlands, finised tied 4th on Sunday, the tournament was won by Carly Booth.
After rounds of 69, 71 en 67 on the Golf Gerre Losone in Ticino, Switzerland Marjet van der Graaff claimed 4th place after three days. In her last round she made four birdies en two bogeys.
The Swiss Open is one of the biggest and most important tournaments on the Ladies European Tour. The Dutch girl earned € 25.305,- with the 4th place this saw her move from 68th to 28th place on the Order of Merit.
Van der Graaff had only one stroke more then Anja Monke, Caroline Masson and Carly Booth, who had to decide the tournament in a play-off. Eventually Booth won on the 4th play-off hole by making a eagle on the par 5 18th. It is the second win of the carrer of the young Scottish player.
