 Welcome to the PlayerLayer site. Although we are new, our values are as old as sport itself. We are combining the old with the new. Although technology and increasing commercialisation is sweeping its way through our treasured sports we have to hold on to traditional values such as team spirit, pride and passion for the game. One ingredient is uniform, it allows us to represent our team and ourselves in the way we want to be perceived, as an unshakable unit. PlayerLayer have evolved through Schools and Teams looking for a uniform technical baselayer of premium quality, helping individuals to feel a part of the team as well as allowing them to feel the benefits of the performance apparel. More traditional attire is at the bottom of the pile as PlayerLayers offer thermal qualities along with a moisture transfer system so you feel light and comfortable.  

Leicestershire CCC and PlayerLayer

 PlayerLayer have signed a deal to become the official baselayer partner for Leicestershire County Cricket Club.The Leicestershire deal is a first for PlayerLayer with a professional club. The players will take advantage of PlayerLayers technologically advanced fabrics and garment construction. No external branding is visible on the Leicestershire kit, due to regulations in professional cricket. The supporters and junior Leicestershire PlayerLayers are printed with the county’s logos on the neck and sleeve . As well as supplying the 1st team squads with technical baselayer, PlayerLayer also provide an online shop. The shop stocks the full range of Leicestershire baselayer product that can be purchasedMarketing director Rod Bradley said “PlayerLayer is a brand on the move. I like Lewis's mentality, spirit and passion for rugby. He puts his body on the line every game and will do anything for his team. Freddie's a lad, it's his attitude and energy he gives to the team which i really admire. He's a match winner with the ball and can be destructive with the bat and for these reasons i see him as a role model."How does your PlayerLayer help you succeed?  "Not only does it look good it feels good too. Looking and feeling professional on the pitch definitely helps me raise my game. In order to suceed you need to be passionate about what you do. You have to believe in yourself and your team. Pride, passion and team unity are vital to achieving your goals." Role Models?"I admire Kelly Holmes for her undeniably strong work ethic and her perseverance over the course of her career."How does your PlayerLayer help you succeed?"Unfortunately in hockey you play rain or shine, but my PlayerLayer helps me forget about really bitter winds and freezing cold rain that can effect my level of play. Keeping my hands and arms warm between, aswell as during, matches is essential and my PlayerLayer actually helps considerably.
